Fall Newsletter 2026

It’s spooky season and after feeling like a moldy potato for the summer, I’m finally feeling more normal again. Now with a new diagnosis. Psoriatic Arthritis. Joy. But I think it’s been diagnosed soon enough that any further damage can be stemmed. I’m definitely finding myself even more sensitive to the weather though and that has been unpleasant. But they have me on a new med and I’ve been on it long enough I should start noticing improvements. Fingers crossed.

I got started on The Secrets of Bloodhenge again in late August, too, and making progress. Currently in the midst of rewriting the first 10K as a first-person recounting instead of a third-person experience. It’s going well. I’ve managed to clean some aspects up and find satisfying places to have other characters ask questions for expositional needs. Patreon has seen me sharing the character journals and poetry I’ve been writing for V Rising roleplaying server I joined. That’s been fun. I’ve been fairly productive lately. I’m hoping maybe I’ll have the 2nd draft of the book done by the end of the year and I can start putting together the Kickstarter.

Unfortunately, this is about all the news I’ve got to share given where things have been. Between mental and physical health, it’s been a lot of trying to get bits of things done and figuring out what signs and symptoms I’m having. I hope everyone’s doing well. I hope your October is nice and spooky. Let’s hope I have big things to share in the next newsletter!
